The panoramic road: the trip with the best photos

Our recommendation for a day out by car with photo stops — and the cabins' key advantage: you're already on the route. The road crosses an open mountain landscape, with forests, meadows and views over the Beliș–Vlădeasa area.
Stop 1 — Pipaș Peak. A viewpoint on the route. Stop only where the car can be left safely, without blocking the road.
Stop 2 — Dealu Botii plateau. Set at high altitude, the plateau offers wide views over the lake and the mountain villages. The Beliș–Dealu Botii–Răchițele route is also popular with cycle tourists (hiking/cycling variant: about 12 km, 3–3.5 hours).
Important: some sections may have potholes, gravel or narrow stretches. Drive carefully, don't stop in bends, and check conditions after rain.
